These bliss balls are seriously the best ones I've ever had and it's not just because I made them. I'm not crazy about dates and bliss balls are usually primarily date flavored, which is why I made some without!
You can achieve the creamy flavor and texture by adding peanut butter and a plant sweetener of choice, along with oats and walnuts in a food processor. The raw cacao gives these a hint of chocolate, making them perfectly blissful.
1/2 cup oats (can sub almond flour)
3 tbsp peanut butter, or almond
1 handful walnuts
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
3 tbsp brown rice malt syrup, (or any plant sweetener)
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of pink salt
In a food processor, pulse all ingredients until they're sticky enough to form together. Roll into balls, place on a sheet of parchment paper and freeze for at least 4 hours. Top with coconut shreds, rose petals, melted chocolate, hemp seeds, raw cacao powder or cinnamon. Makes about 8 balls.
